Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 through December 7, with changes made during this period generally taking effect January 1. You can start reviewing your coverage and discussing your options before enrollment begins.

Your needs can change-and so can your plan. Even if your current coverage has worked well, it’s worth checking what will stay the same and what may be different next year.
For Medicare Advantage and prescription drug coverage, a review can help you understand changes to premiums, deductibles, copayments, covered medications, and provider networks.
A review doesn’t automatically mean you need to switch plans. The goal is to understand your coverage and make an informed ddecision.
Start With Your Annual Notice of Change
If you have a Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan, look for your Annual Notice of Change. This document explains changes to your plan’s costs and coverage for the coming year.
Bring it to your appointment, along with any questions about what those changes could mean for you.
What to Bring to Your Review
A little preparation helps us focus on what matters to you. Have these items ready:
Your medicare card and current insurance information.
A current medication list, incluing dosages.
The names of your doctors and preferred pharmacy.
Any notices your plan sent about 2027.
Questions about costs, coverage, or changes in your needs.
